Boozy Bushwacker Pie

A trip to the Florida Panhandle isn't complete without a bushwacker or two by the beach—and now you can serve the boozy, creamy, milkshake-like beverage at the dessert table.

This bushwacker pie captures all of the flavors and textures of the dangerously strong beverage.

This amazing treat combines ice cream and gelato with spiced rum, Irish cream liqueur, and other alcohol.

The alcohol makes the ice creams softer when frozen, but they stiffen up after a time.

Before you begin, make sure you have enough freezer space because this takes at least a day to firm up before serving.

1 pt vanilla ice cream (like Häagen-Dazs) 1 pt. chocolate ice cream (like Häagen-Dazs). 1 pt. coconut gelato or ice cream (like Talenti Caribbean Coconut) 1/4 cup (2 oz.) Irish cream liqueur (like Baileys)

2 tablespoons (1 ounce) spiced rum (such as Captain Morgan) 2 tablespoons crème de cacao 6 Tbsp. (3 oz.) coffee liqueur (e.g. Kahlúa), divided 34 coffee-flavored creme-filled chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreo Java Chip).
