Can I Make Good Korean Food at Home with a Portable Burner  

 Korean culture emphasizes communal eating.  

 This is evident at Korean barbecue restaurants, even if you make frequent blunders like overeating banchan or side dishes before grilling the meat.  

 These convivial and filling Korean meals rely on tabletop burners.  

 Korean BBQ and other Korean delicacies may be made at home using a portable burner, but is it worth it  

 We interviewed two Korean food gurus about portable burners at Walmart's BetterGoods launch.  

 Danny Kim is an Instagram food content maker, and chef Jae Lee owns Nowon, a Korean restaurant in New York.

 "If you like to host gatherings, and you love to eat together family-style out of a pot in the middle of the table, a portable burner is the way to go," Lee says.  

 He recalls family gatherings: "We'll put the portable burner [on the table], put a grill on top, and start grilling pork belly.
